Jamie started as a dental assistant in 2001 and continued her career at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, graduating as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She has been a hygienist for over 15 years.

Meet Dr. Ian Larson

Meet Dr. Matthew Weiss, DMD

A Pittsburgh native, Dr. Weiss graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Neuroscience and continued his education with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) also the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He has organized dental mission trips to Honduras and has devoted his time to the Special Smiles and Mission of Mercy programs to help others with their dental and oral health needs.

Dr. Weiss completed a residency program at Allegheny General Hospital to further his skills in dental surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and restorative dentistry. His emphasis is on preventative and comprehensive dental care for patients of all ages. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Meet Dr. Zachary Longo

Dr. Longo is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate dental care with a focus on patient comfort and long-term oral health. A proud graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Longo earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree Summa cum laude, reflecting a strong commitment to academic excellence and clinical mastery.

After dental school, Dr. Longo served in the United States Air Force, where he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency. During that time, he gained comprehensive experience in advanced dental procedures including restorative, dental surgery, prosthodontic, periodontal and endodontic procedures. He is committed to staying at the forefront of the dental field. He regularly pursues continuing education and advanced training to stay up to date with the latest techniques, technologies, and evidence-based practices in dentistry.

During his time in active-duty service, Dr. Longo was honored with the prestigious Air Force Medical Service Clinical Dentist of the Year award in 2024—recognizing outstanding clinical skill, leadership, and dedication to patient care within the Air Force medical community. Dr. Longo continues to serve proudly in the Pennsylvania Air National Guard, where he takes part in mission trips that provide dental care to underserved communities—both locally and abroad. He brings a deep commitment to making dentistry accessible to those who need it most and a unique blend of military precision and patient-centered care to every aspect of the dental experience.

Outside the office, Dr. Longo enjoys cooking, hiking with his dog, Kai, playing soccer and golf, and snowboarding whenever the mountains call. He is proud to care for the Pearl Dentistry community and looks forward to helping patients of all ages achieve healthier, more confident smiles.
